ASCENSION

Hello, my name is Ray Gaines, and I personally want to thank you for visiting
Ascension Photography & Videography's website.  A Locally Owned Disabled Veteran Small Business and member of the California Veterans Chamber of Commerce.

During a time in my life span, I had an opportunity to travel the world and visit many foreign and exotic places while serving in the United States Navy. During this time I developed a love for taking pictures and capturing moments of all of my experiences. 
It was fun and exciting taking photos of people and places around the world.  There was never a moment where I wasn't able to grab someone and get them to let me snap a picture of them, or get them to snap a picture of me.  I could hardly wait to get the pictures developed to see and relive those moments of the many faces and places I visited. 

 

After returning home from service and later becoming a 100% disabled veteran, I felt that same passion, and continued taking pictures of family, friends, and just about anything I found interesting.

 

It's just what I love to do!

 

One funny and amazing thing I discovered years later that I'll share....My father had the same passion and love for taking pictures while he served in the military, and also after returning home from war.

 

Like Father, Like Son!

Today through Ascension Photography & Videography, I still have that same passion for capturing unforgettable moments, and it is my endeavoring goal to provide you with satisfying professional service, and to leave you with a positive and memorable experience.
